SCHOOL PUPILS RIGHTS

The sad thing is , in law, school pupils have virtually no rights.

What a sad state of affairs, we can protect adults legally, but not children, nor school pupils.

We can give rights to  to many others, yet children are treated as second class.

There are recommendations, yet none that really legally apply, yet we have laws that protect animals, I know this might appear controversial , but why would anyone put the life of an animal before a child ?

Now is the time to ensure school pupils have the same right to safety,  [&  we all have an equal right to the safety] as all  adults do, so why do we accept less for our children,.

This concept escapes me totally!

 
Not to mention the fact that those who make these laws,rules, or in some cases dont , are also parents & grand parents, so whats their problem?

We don’t run this site , nor do anything else for self glory, we do so in the hope that laws & rules are changed, we do not want anyone else to suffer the loss or serious injury of their child.
 
It is only when you have to go through something like this you realise that others might have to walk this same dark road, & it does not go away.
 
It’s a natural reaction to try to help others avoid it.
thats called being human being & having compassion for others, not a trouble maker as i am sure some think!
 
The sad bit is, others will, as time goes on have to walk this very same road we have, if we can help cut those numbers it’s a start.
 
Please do not make the mistake of thinking, it wont happen to your family, the tragic thing is , an accident can strike at any time, anywhere.
Accidents dont recognise postcodes!
 
There are many safety groups, organisations & charities; some are led by compassion, some for making money & they have a huge turnover over the year, I can never understand how a charity can be a business, but that’s maybe just me!
 
They all pursue different ideas of how they work & what they support, as I always point out, we did not choose to start www.schoolbus.org.uk 
 
THE DEFINIATION OF THE WORD CHARITY
1. generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless: to devote one's life to charity.
2. something given to a person or persons in need; alms: She asked for work, not charity.
3. a charitable act or work.This to me mean given
4. a charitable fund, foundation, or institution: He left his estate to a charity.
5. benevolent feeling, esp. toward those in need or in disfavor: She looked so poor that we fed her out of charity.
6. leniency in judging others; forbearance: She was inclined to view our selfish behavior with charity.
7. Christian love; agape.
 
 
 It would be truly wonderful if our site did not excist.
 
Believe you me, if we could of avoided this by not being involved through the loss or serious injury of a child, we would of done all we could, it did not work out that way, not for us anyway.
 
This is why we do what we do, no other reason, not to make funds although some money would help us, not for our own profiles, we do this to try to save lives & we are helping this happen &  we are making a difference, slowly, but is happening.
 
What more could we ask , nothing!.
