ACCIDENT LIST
You know, its one of the hardest tasks i do, trawling papers etc for school bus accidents & sadly deaths, its not a task i relish by any means, but it has to be done.This needs brought to the publics attention.
If this helps saves lives, then it is worth doing, what we never forget is behind every story we print, there is a terrible sadness, & its a tragic loss of life.
Until you have lost a child, or had a child injured its hard to understand the feelings that go with this.
However if you have lost a child or had one injured, we apologise if you are affected by our listings, but we do so in the knowledge that it will stop other accidents eventually.
We ask for your support in this & also in the knowledge that out of your loss & sorrow, by printing these accidents, it will eventually help save lives & other families from going through all we & yourselves have.
I have decided to publish a list of some accidents, mostly in the last few years, this shows that School Bus Accidents are not the rare event some would make you think.
I have listed those that are UK wide, this show's the EXTENT of this problem, many school children are left with very serious injuries that last a lifetime, others sadly tragically lost.
I have also included a small list of those lost at the bottom.
So when you hear Bus companies & Local Authorities play down accidents & deaths regarding this subject, this should make you think again.
It has over the years affected most Local Authorities UK wide.

I hope you find these figures as disturbing as WE do, & don't forget the devastating sadness for the families who have lost children either.
