Bus crash in St Annes

TWO crashes happened within hours of each other at an accident blackspot in St Annes.
Police and ambulance were called to the first crash at the junction of St David's Road North and St Leonard's Road after a blue Vauxhall Combo van and a silver Nissan Micra collided.
The incident took place just before 12pm today.
Hours later - at 3.15pm - a blue Vauxhall Zafira and the number 14 double decker bus collided at the same spot
Eight children hurt in Wakefield bus crash

AT least eight children are believed to have suffered minor injuries in a bus crash in Wakefield this morning.
The single deck bus is believed to have skidded on ice before hitting a traffic island in Hollingthorpe Lane, Hall Green.
